Re-Elect
Samantha Pope for Ward 1 TrusteeÂ
Pembina Trails School Division
On October 28, Vote Pope
Teacher. Parent. Community Voice.
I’m proud to have grown up in Pembina Trails, attending Pacific Junction, Charleswood Junior High, and Shaftesbury, along with my three brothers. Today, I’m a teacher and high school guidance counsellor in St. James-Assiniboia with 13 years of experience, a proud parent of two children, and my oldest attends school in Pembina Trails. My commitment is to put students at the center of every decision, support safe and inclusive schools, listen to families, students, and staff, and advocate for strong public education. I bring classroom experience, a student-first perspective, and a deep commitment to our community. It would be an honour to continue serving as your Ward 1 trustee, and I respectfully ask for your support to re-elect me.
My Priorities
Student Success
I believe every student deserves the tools to succeed. I will continue advocating for the resources students need and for safe, supportive schools where every learner can reach their full potential.
Fiscal Responsibility
Transparency matters. I will continue asking questions, supporting responsible budgeting, and working to ensure our division's resources are used where they make the biggest difference for students and staff.
Teacher Support
Our teachers are the heart of our school system. I will advocate for professional development and resources that allow them to focus on what they do best: teaching.
One Year of Service. Ready for More.
